Diana Iong is a board certified Acupuncturist, licensed in the state of California and recognized as a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She received her education and training in Eastern and Western Medicine from the American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, where she graduated with a Masters in Oriental Medicine. In addition to her clinical practice, Diana is also a translator and editor of medical texts in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Diana is passionate about applying the healing benefits of the ancient medical system of Traditional Chinese Medicine to modern medical conditions faced by many people today, such as neck and back pain, headaches, fibromyalgia, arthritis, gastrointestinal disorders, sleep disturbances, menstrual irregularities and infertility. The natural, safe, and effective methods she uses in her practice include body, ear and facial acupuncture, herbs, Chinese bodywork (tui-na), cupping, electrical point stimulation and moxibustion.
Having lived and traveled extensively throughout East, Central and South Asia, Diana has gained a broadened sense of “community” and empathy which she brings to her practice with her patients. She is committed to offering quality, holistic care to adults and children with a variety of health concerns and to work with each of them in developing lifelong practices toward wellness. She is also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese.
